Surprise arrival of C-27A 90-0174 at Patrick

It is Thur, 8:28pm EDT (Fri, 0028z).
Moments ago C-27A (Alenia Spartan) 90-0174 (c/n 4101) landed at
Patrick AFB, using the callsign N2290J. This is one of the aircraft of
the Dept of State Air Wing that is based here (Dept of State Bureau of
International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Affairs). The last time I saw
this aircraft here was in March 2001. After that it was seen in Peru in
Aug 2001 at Jorge Chavez IAP in Lima, and later was among the old State
Dept aircraft at AMARC. If planes could talk, this plane certainly
would tell some interesting stories. I hope to get a picture of her
tomorrow.
