My Pro-95 suddenly stopped responding to the keyboard. It is locked up on a
channel and there is no way to make it do anything. It does not respond to the Lock/Light key either. Using WIN-95 program and the serial cable I was able to clear all channels but it still does not respond to the keyboard. Please help! Cass |

In your owners manual under truobleshooting there is a section on how to
reset and how to initialize the scanner. If you don't have a manual you can join the Pro93-95 Yahoo group and download one there. Thank you guys for the advice. In the meantime I decided to do the unthinkable,
RTFM. On page 83 of the manual I found how to reset the scanner (press a pin through a hole on the side of the scanner) and how to initialize it (press 0 then 1 after turning it on). I tried it about 5 times without results but after the sixth attempt the scanner came back to life and started responding to the keyboard. It seems to be fixed now. However, it lost my confidence and I resurrected my old PRO-37 and keep it as a backup.
