How do you program a freq. in so it stays in the memory 1: Hit "Manual" on keypad until you reach the channel ( 1 to 16) you desire. 2: Enter the frequency (e.g., 144.390) on the numerical keypad and hit "E" (enter) key. Repeat step 1 and 2 to set up all 16 channels. To set up for scanning between two frequencies limits use the numerical keypad: 1: Enter beginning frequency (e.g.,154.00) then hit the "LIMIT" key, enter ending frequency (e.g., 162.00) and hit "LIMIT" key again. Start scanning by hitting "SRCH" (search) key. "HOLD" will hold the scan. To scan thru all 16 preset channels just hit "SCAN" after you set them up. You can also 'LOCKOUT' some channels during this scan. |
