Default data channels

as a newbie I'd appreciate any advice about what data channels are
active and receiveable in the midlands of the UK. I already know about
the pagers on 153... and satellites on 137.. but tonight I was playing
with sigmira1r0 (set to my soundcard)
http://www.saharlow.com/technology/sigmira/index.htm
and when I tried 3.526 I heard some data stuff and when I clicked CW
in the sigmira program I started getting text. It was gobbledegook of
course but we've all gotta start somewhere...
thanks for any advice.

Yahoo! Group UDXF.

thanks for the info Jim. I subscribed to UDXF for a while but found it
confusing. It seems to be a succession of 'logs' that I don't
understand. I probably need to learn more before trying this group
again and it's difficult to know where to start.
