Default New Uniden BC72XLT

I bought a scanner and while it is nice, it has one annoying
characteristic. When I have the Close Call feature running, it loses
the frequency it detected in only a couple of seconds and there does
not seem to be a way to automaticaly save the detected frequency into
memory.

Any comments on this? Did I make a mistake in buying this cheap
scanner?
