Default Combining audio from two sources

Hello All,
Just contemplating combining audio from two sources into a
stereo headset. The sources would be a handheld scanner and a small
AM/FM Walkman. I presume some sort of mixer......? It would have to be
portable and light. Intended use would be for monitoring aircraft
frequencies while mowing a full size airstrip, and yet being able to
listen to music to aleviate the boredom. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
