Default Pocsag

Anyone ever sit and decode some of this stuff? I did the other night. Pretty
neat.

Well maybe some people are saying, "What's Pocsag?" but I doubt
it.....anyway, Pocsag is like pager data and stuff and here's a program
called PDW that decodes alot of different Pocsag/Flex modes as well as
Mobitex, Acars and Ermes.

http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~pdw/alp/db/PDW110F.ZIP

Pocsag transmissions can usually be found in the 152-153Mhz, 453-456Mhz &
929-932Mhz range.

Any such programs for us Linux folk? Seen a boatload of ham/SWL programs for
Linux but not much in the way of scanning.

I dunno. I'll have to look around. Can't you just run it in WINE? I'm not
too familiar with Linux so I don't know what runs and doesn't run in WINE.

Took a look around on Google and found this:

http://www.baycom.org/~tom/ham/linux/multimon.html

Currently, the following modes are supported:

* AX.25
o 1200 Baud AFSK
o 2400 Baud AFSK (2 variants)
o 4800 Baud HAPN
o 9600 Baud FSK (G3RUH)
* POCSAG
o 512 Baud
o 1200 Baud
o 2400 Baud
* Miscellaneous
o DTMF
o ZVEI

As far as other scanner radio decoding I don't know of much else to decode
but Acars which is the data commercial aircraft transmit. If you're
interested in that you can find a Linux program he
