http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BC895/ Mark Kelton wrote: Can someone give me the frequencies for at least one Motorola 800 MHz Trunking system that they know is currently active in the Los Angeles area (West S.F. Valley)? I've tried all the ones I can find on the Internet and can't seem to find anything that is transmitting. I have a new BC895XLT and I'm following all the directions for programming the trunked system scanning, including trying it at various squelch levels, but, as I said, I haven't been able to locate any transmissions yet. It seems to be working, but not finding anything. And I'm assuming that these systems have their control channels broadcasting the system ID all the time, so I should at least be able to find the control channel, shouldn't I? The radio will pick up non-trunking systems, so I know it's working OK. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. |
