Greetings from a frustrated new R5 owner. Here's the situation:

I am using the www.CS-R5.com software and would like to set up the scanner
with banks set up in the following manner:

Police
Fire
Weather
TV
Airport
Music (AM and FM)
FRS/CB
Marine
Fast Food
Phones
HYPO
Local
Emergency

How do I go about setting up these banks and allowing the radio to scan
these banks? In other words, I want to be able to push 1 or 2 buttons and be
able to quickly scan any given bank.

Is there any way to import PerCon files without overwriting existing
memory entries on the radio (like the top 100 SW list)?

What is offset and how does one know what setting to use?

How does one know which CTCSS tone frequency to specify?

How does one know which mode (AM, FM, or WFM) to use?

How does one know which frequency step to use?

How does one know which DTCS # to use?

How does one know which polarity to use?

Why won't the bank names I specify "stick" when I save my changes?

What is +and- duplex and how do you know what to specify?

Is there a simple way to set up frequencies to have them duplexed for
easier listening?

As you can see, I'm highly confused with all the terminology and would
GREATLY appreciate any help you all might be able to provide...
