Default New to this please help

HI,
I have owned police scanners in the past (small 10 channel ones) and am
thinking of buying the bc-250D

Would this scanner pick up highway patrol chatter on road trips including
aircraft? Does it pick up on CB? Thanks for your help. Like I said I am new
to this and the price really is no big issue for me on this scanner.

It will pick the highway patrol, local police, aircraft, fire and just
about anything you can think of BUT, IT WON'T PICKUP CB!!!!

Are you sure? My 780 picks up CB, and the 780/785/250 are all
supposed to be basically identical (except for George's report that the 785
is deaf as a stump in a couple of spots.)

A Pro-95 can scan CB, but I never hear much of anything unless someone is
driving past the house and transmiting.
