I am wondering how many people are using any type software with there
scanners.
I rarely do.

Likewise. I'll use WinScan 780 (don't buy it; it's utter crap) just
to handle alpha tags and such.
Java780's about the only thing I use with any regularity - it's just
cool to watch it do its thing.

talkpcr for Icom pc1000.
Homebrewed tcl/tk program to control bc780xlt and andy's spreadsheet for
programming.

Stupid me, I left out my software choices.
Both BC780XLT's are controlled using Unitrol.
My BC895XLT is going on eBay but was controlled using scanpro895 and Unitrol
I have also tried trunker and trunkmanager.

Rat Shack Pro-95 scanners are supposedly torture to try and program by
hand, though I never tried it. I use Don Starr's Win95.
