Where can I buy a good telescoping handheld antenna for my BC-3000XLT?

Antenna's aren't designed to support the weight of a radio. You should hold
the radio in your hand, not the antenna.

I think RS still sells a ~26" with a choke in the middle for $12 or so.
Grove also has a telescoping with a hinge, ANT06, 29", $15.

sure beats the last reply he got for this question.... Not sure about the
Grove antenna (not familiar with it), but the Rad Shack - if the one I'm
thinking of is the same one you're referring to, is sort of tunable as to
frequency by extending or collapsing per a chart... It should work ok. JMS

Watson W-889 is also a very good telescopic antenna.
