Ok i finally understand trunking thanks to all who helped, but i need one
more thing answered its about the ecads trunking the halton region uses this and i know who have to program the freq in order but they have 3 transmiter sites dose that meen I have to use 3 seperate banks. System: Halton, Regional Municipality of County: Halton Type: G.E. ^ ... one more thing answered its about the [EDACS] trunking ^ ... they have 3 transmiter sites dose that meen I have to ^ use 3 seperate banks. Possibly. The three sites would be for different geographical coverage. They could either transmit everything from each area into each of the other areas or they could do something less. You'll have to determine if you can receive each site. If you can receive each then plug each into a separate bank in your scanner. Listen to each and determine if they are identical. If you will be travelling into each area frequently you may want to use all three anyway. Frank |
