Default FRS scanning

Does anybody know how to scan the FRS channels and subcodes at all? I have a
PRO -92.

Mark;

Here is a source of the FRS frequencies:
http://www.strongsignals.net/access/content/faf.html

Scroll down to the section listing them. And try the GMR and color 'DOT'
frequencies also.

After programming the above frequencies into a band of there own on the PRO-92,
scan them in the "OPEN" mode
and any CTCSS tone codes will be displayed. You may not see many CTCSS or
Digital Tone Codes on the
Family Radio Service-FRS band. But on other bands they show up all the time.
Check the manual to find out
how to us the CTCSS/DCS feature, here's a link to the manual.

I use the tone code squelch search feature on the ICOM IC R-2 (CTCSS only)
and CTCSS/DCS on the Uniden BC 250D
and use the CTCS/DTC enty only capability -feature with the RELM HS-200 hand
held radio.
