Default BC155 rear port

Hi all,
I just picked up an old used Bearcat 155. It works fine, but there's a port
on the back that has me puzzled. It's a cut into the circuit board with
four metal strip contacts on the bottom.
Does anyone know what it's for? I posted 3 pictures on
http://noah.afraid.org/scanner/bc155.html

TIA,
-Noah

Looks like a factory diagnostics or test point.
