Been hearing some comms on NORAD freqs 234.6000 and 254.2000. Callsigns
a Widge 48, Oscar 2 Kilo, and CCF. These callsigns were calling Eglin and each other. There was comms discussing an activity which either took place or is currently taking place “in the deep south”. Widge 48 was trying to get permission to stay up longer (currently he was near Daytona Beach, FL). Some comms were being broadcast on both 234.6000 and 254.2000 simultanisouly. Other comms seemed to be duplexed on these freqs with Widge 48 xmitting on 234.6 and Oscar 2 Kilo xmitting on 254.2000. Also disuccsions of making contact with Eglin on HF. Anyone know what HF freq? I started hearing these comms at about 1630 EDT and still going strong at 1704 EDT…. George – Daytona Beach, FL http://www.MilAirComms.com |
