I knew the software on the CDROM that came with the PCIF cable wouldn't
work with the Pro95 so I downloaded a copy of Starrsoft Win95. That doesn't seem to be working for me believe it or not. I've checked my cable connections at both ends and I've set the serial port to COM1 in Win95 but I still get nada. What gives here? Is there some other proggy out there that I should be using instead of Win95 or something? |

It would be difficult to believe otherwise. If you look at the Win95 web site, you'll see a link to a bunch of cable information, including a big, red warning that 20-048 won't work. http://www.starrsoft.com/freeware/wi...es/cables.html -Don |

I know I'd need a male 1/8 phono plug and a female DB9, but I'm clueless about the pinouts on the latter and what's the best kinda' cable to use? |
