Enter all the system frequencies, not just the control channel(s). Set each
frequency to the correct mode and set the bank to the correct mode (MOT, ED,
LTR). It will be easier if you program the radio with Win92 from
www.starrsoft.com.

Is the mode of the bank and the frequencies on the correct mode setting
(ie MOT for MOT systems, EDACS for the EDACS For example, Bank 0 is set
to a EDACS system :

"Banks"
Bank# system Mode
0 any town EDACS

"Channels"
Ch# Freq PL Mode
0
1. 855.2375 EDACS)

The bank mode setting and the channel mode setting has to match in order
to be able following any trunking system. I hope I have not confuse
you any further.

Make sure you have both the Bank mode and the Talk group mode set to the
same one. That may be your program. I know when I first started I kept
hearing the noise from the Control change. I re-checked my programming
found that when I programmed in the frequency. I did not have it set to
the right PL. For example in a EDACS system (855.2375 Freq tag name/
Mode set to EDACS. You do this in the channel set window. When in the
Bank set up window. The Bank name then mode set to EDACS.

I hope I am understanding your question about your problem correctly. If
not I wish to appolozie for any problems caused. If have Yahoo Messenger
