Default ubc 200xlt version

Hi,
I bought a used 200xlt yesterday and it works perfectly. (I paid it
75e, that's about 70$ is that too much?)
Only problem is that it's a europena version (made for Belgian
market).
So it has cell unlocked (not that there are any cells in Europe on
that freqs
anyhow ), but insted of 29-54mhz it has stupid 66-88mhz !!! Is
there any way to change that??? On mods.dk there is a picture of a
resistor that needs to be cut in
order to receive cell (and it's correct, because i don't have that
resistor on my radio and i receive cell).

But also there are a some different ressistors and caps around CPU. I
wonder, if i removed and moved those parts to match the picture on
mods.dk would that make my radio an "USA model" ? Is that a smart
thing to do?

I would be grateful for any advice, and if someone has a ubc200
service manual PLEASE PLEASE mail it to me! Also, a detailed and
close-up picture of a pcb with cpu of a us version would be of great
help.

Best regards,
Scotty

Disregard my previous post. I misread the model number. Sorry I
can't help you.

At least you tried. Thanks anyway.
