Default Fm radio station

Just wondering is it possible for a scanner to pick up regular fm radio
stations?

There are many scanners doing that.
There must be a WFM mode (WideFM) available on the scanner.
At least all upper class scanners are having this mode.
IF bandwidth is between 150 and 250khz in WFM. On NFM (narrow FM) IF is
between 6 and 30 khz.
