Default Scanner at Chicago Race Track Question

I am new to taking a scanner to the races with me, so a quick question? At
Milwaukee they said to use the 'stubby' anntena. Now I have gotten tickets for
Chicago, which obviously is a bigger track. Will I still want the short
anntena or the regular-longer one?

Default

stubby antenna will cut down on channel overload and intermod from adjacent
frequencies at the track according to the scanner manufacturers and
retaliers.
