Default FA:Scanner Mobile mount

Excellent mount, no longer need it. Holds a scanner or ham radio perfectly.

Clips into (onto?) the plastic air vent fins? CREEPY! Those things break
easy enough on their own, without adding extra weight to them... Nice idea,
but doesn't sound too safe to me...

I've used that type of mount for years without any problems with vents
breaking.
