This is a Motorola CentraCom rack complete with radios, power and antenna connections. Using the included renown 8 port Stridsberg multi-coupler this station only requires a single antenna for all of it's radios. With the included 12 volt power supply and power strip only a single AC power cord is needed. The R7000's, BC780 and Pro2006 all have Discriminator Taps, and have them brought to the side of the rack for easy access. Any of these radios may be connected to the CD-1 PL decoder simply, as well as used to decode trunked or other data signals. The BC780 and Pro2052 have RS232 data ports, which are also cabled and brought to the side of the rack for easy connection to a computer. The Plectron is set to decode the MABAS tones, so you can monitor large scale incidents. The top R7000 has the Remote Control and Speech Module. This unit has a slightly flaky display, that goes on and off, can be repaired if you have the skill or want to send it to Icom for $125. The bottom R7000 display works perfectly. Both units were recently professionally aligned by Icom. Both have Discriminator Taps for decoding of digital signals. The CD-1's input cable is brought out to the side of the rack for easy access and may be connected to any of the receivers except the Pro2052. Included Equipment: 2 rack-mounted Icom R7000 Wide band scanning receivers. (25-1000, 1025 to 2000 MHz., no gaps!) AM, FM, FMW, SSB. Includes 10.7 MHz. IF outputs, and more. One Plectron VHF Alert Receiver, on 154.265 MHz., with the MABAS Alert Tones. One Radio Shack PRO2052 Trunktracking scanner (Motorola, Edacs, 1000 Channels) One Uniden BC-780 Trunktracking scanner (Motorola, Edcas, LTR, 500 channels) One Radio Shack PRO2006 scanner (full coverage from 25 to 550 and 800 to 1300 MHz., No Gaps!) One Connect System CD-1 PL/DPL/DTMF Decoder. One 14 amp 12 VDC power supply. One Stridsberg 8 port wide band amplified multicoupler. $1750 for the complete station. You must pick up in suburban Chicago IL, as it is too large and heavy to ship. -- Rich Carlson, N9JIG rich#n9jig*com Change the # to @ and the * to . |
