Does the BC250D need the volume mod that older BC scanners needed to up the
output of the earphone jack? I bought one to use at NASCAR races and need
to know if the scanner can drive a pair of headphones at the track. I used
a buddies BC200XLT last fall and noticed there wasn't much volume with his
headphones. You could barely make out the drivers with all the outside
noise.
