Uniden 57XLT: modification to pre-programmed police channel

Hi,

Just wondering whether it was possible to reprogramme the
pre-programmed 64-channel police memory, as the frequencies programmed
into it are not applicable to New Zealand.

Any advice or other mods would be most appreciated.
