"A" No signal loss in antenna cable! No problems, having to install a
super-duper antenna system, in an apartment building, that may not even allow it. Bill Crocker "Jim" wrote in message om... Which one is a better choice receptionwise? Bill Crocker "A" of course, everything being equal, but there's also effects caused by other buildings nearby or other obstructions. If you are above the horizontal plane of the surrounding buildings and most of the trees at the 11th floor level, no problemo, even with an ordinary rubber duck. My pro-95 is very sensitive even being on the ground, but use a celluar type mag mount antenna for my BC780XLT. It's mounted on an old steel license plate on top of the bookcase. Provides pretty good reception. |
