Anyone tried this on their handheld and how does it work? It looks very
similar to my Diamond RH77CA and I'm wondering if there is a performance difference between the two? Frank |

I have a Watson-branded Super-Gainer W-881 that fits CCrane's description
and looks just like the RH77CA, except that the Watson is about an inch longer than the Diamond. Anecdotally, they seem to perform the same, but I haven't spent time doing any structured tests. To me the Diamond is markedly better than typical stock scanner rubber ducks and even better on 800 MHz than a couple of dedicated 800 antennas I have. I don't expect you'd note that kind of improvement (or any, really) over the Diamond with the Super-Gainer. If you need another antenna, the Super-Gainer won't dissappoint.
