This one works great, and free.

Enjoy,

As Steve Halvorson so eloquently stated:

I'm using XP and I programmed my PRO-95 with no problems. Download Win95
scanner programming software for free. You can find the db files on the
internet for your area too.

This cannot be emphasised enough!

Do not waste your time with that Radio Shack crap software. Get the free
stuff from starsoft and it will work perfectly.

Ditto the Starsoft!

You might want to give it a try without software. The PRO-95 is very easy
to program from the keypad on the scanner.

That's not good advice at all as it's a royal pain to program any type of
trunk system via the keypad on the 95.

The OP should not bother with that RadioShack crap software. Get a copy of
this:

http://www.starrsoft.com/freeware/win95/default.asp

It works perfectly with XP or any recent MS OS. It makes the scanner fun
to use like it should be.

Heartily agreed. That software is fantastic, and does exactly what you
say--makes it fun instead of a chore.

I have to agree wit the other posters, using something like win85 does make
the job easier. You can organize you scanner to do it what you want you
better.

Along the same line...does anyone have the codes that program the pro95.
While I haven't done a turn everyrock over type of search I can't seem to
find the basic instruction code that people who write sopftware to program
the scanner use. v I know its out there somewhere or else win95 and the
others couldn't be written for this scanner. Anyone have it or know what it
can be gotten?
