Default Ka and X on radar detector

I was driving on I-10 with my 11 band Cobra radar detecto AOR-8200
Scanner, AOR-8000 scanner and CB.

I noticed that at times when a large truch would approach from either
direction the radar detector wound show an "alert on either X-Band or Ka
band.....

anyone have any idea what this could be. I think it might be the
satellite communication system used by the trucks ??

On my last trip, I was on I-10, the radar detector went to
level-4..noticed a Highway Patrol or Border patrol comming up behind
me.. I was going about 85Mph, the guy passed me going much faster.... I
monitored the area scanner frequencies and determined that a "Coyote" or
one who lead illegals was fleeing from Border patrol and rolled his van
killing two occupants... this happened around 4am...

both my scanners AOT-8000 and AOR-8200 do receive cellular signals and
each can store 1000 channels. If I add a memory card to the 8300 I can
store about 4,000 channels worth of data....
