My BC100XLT seems to have the 'standard' fault where there is no audio
and the backlight won't illuminate. Other than that it seems okay! I've tried the relevant repair tips as listed he http://repairfaq.ece.drexel.edu/REPAIR/F_BC_Repair.html I found a shorted 200uf electrolytic but replacing that didn't fix the fault. The transistor at Q201 checks out okay and as I didn't have a spare I carried out the mod to short out the collector and emitter but still no sound or backlight. I've checked the rest of the electrolytics and transistors but cannot find any other faults. Any ideas please anyone? Or is there a suitable messageboard where I should be asking about this? Many thanks |
