Default Anybody still using a PRO-43?

Some say it's the best Milair receiver ever made. Is it true?

Great little scanner for its day.
I really don't see what grounds it would have to claim Milair greatness over
the, say, AOR 1000 line or my current handheld, the Alinco DJ-X2000.

Uh... Ok.
Is this just a gut feeling of yours, or have you actually field tested the
units in question and came to the determination that the 43 "works better" ?
