I'm interested in upgrading my old Regency handheld scanner to a
trunking scanner that is capable of receiving signals in the 800Mhz range. While checking various groups and sites, it seems as if my two choices are Uniden BC246T and BR330T. There are no agencies in my area that transmit digital and it is unlikely any will in the near future. My interests are limited to police/fire/EMS. I have no interest in NASCAR. What are the differences between these two scanners? Is there anything about the BR330 to make it worth the extra $50 over the BC246? Are thgere any other scanners I should be looking at? |
