Default need low price for SW7600GR

I am looking to find SW7600GR for lowest price. If you know where I
can find one for low price please tell me. I don't want to pay more
than $125 brand new. I already own DEGEN and KAITO radios so I have
time to shop around.

Default need low price for SW7600GR

Hello.

In my experience, the least costly reliable place to buy this radio in
general is Amazon.com. Right now their price is $149.99 but they
sometimes put it on sale. Last year in December I bought two of them at
$129.15 each and that included shipping.

That's not to say that there may not be some other places that offer it
at $125.00 or less, but I recommend you check Amazon several times a
week as well as checking some shopping bots on the web. Make sure you
watch out for outrageous shipping charges.

As we approach the holidays, the chances of Amazon running this item on
sale increase. If you can be patient, you may be amply rewarded.

Best of luck,

Joe

Thanks Joe,

From what I've heard - and btw I think I heard you own a few more than

two - at $129 it's still a bargain. Maybe I'll just ask Santa to bring
me one for Christmas. I got everything else I need for now.

regards,
NEO

Yes, I own five ICF-SW7600GRs as well as two ICF-SW7600Gs. The Gs are
now "retired" as the GRs are really much better in terms of features.
Both models perform identically, however, and both are constructed to
an unusually high standard.

I hadn't intended to buy those last two GRs I bought last year but
$129.15 was just irresistable. I think the Sony ICF-SW7600GR is the
best small portable shortwave radio on the market right now. There are
some others that may offer a somewhat better value, but they will not
outperform the Sony nor will they be constructed as well.

I wish that Sony were still interested in the shortwave market. Imagine
what they might have done with an updated and improved ICF-SW7600GR,
not even to mention an updated ICF-2010. I'm sure the '7600GR (and the
ICF-SW35 - I own two of them also) will be the last SW radios Sony
produces. Get 'em while you can!

Best,

Joe

The cheapest I've seen it is for $139.99 at Etronics:
