Hi,
I see that a reasonably-priced DRM receiver is finally available that doesn't require connection to a computer: http://www.thiecom.de/morphy-richards-drm-radio.htm The price is €199 (works out at about US$250) + shipping. Doesn't have direct-entry input but is software upgradeable. |

Just checking - you know that DRM is digital radio (for AM/SW) in this case? |

the arrghh difference between this model and the aaargh sangean model is
that argggh you can put a nice light bulb on top ot the arggh Morphy Richards and that arghh will make reception close to zero ... Someone told me that that was the reason why at Sangean the radio comes so late: the sales engineer always tests the beta models near his fluorescant lamp. The radio engineers realised that in August, 2006. ... and the beta models always came back with bad quotations .... "l ' imagination au pouvoir ..." -- For sale: * Pioneer Tuner "Vintage" F-9 http://www.kapaza.be/detail/3491853/ zie ook http://www.oaktreeent.com/Stereo_Tuners.htm * Realistic receiver http://www.kapaza.be/detail/3528863/ * Sony Asian import Shortwave Stereo set http://www.kapaza.be/detail/3528711/ |

DAB -99 dBm would be around S4 to S5 AM 55 uV would be around S8 This radio sucks. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
