Dont the codeless techs get ten meters tonight at midnight?

Yes at 12:00 eastern time, 9pm on the west coast. People may want to
listen between 28.300 and 28.500 mhz. USB. In our community there are
informal nets planned both tonight and tomorrow night. Who
knows.......maybe we will get lucky and the band will open up. Might
be interesting for SWL's to listen for local ground wave signals even
if the band is not open.

Listening to the local repeater here this morning and there are quite a few
folks who could not put forth the effort to learn the code heading for a testing
site somewhere in the area.

David Eduardo has claimed in the past to have held the Ecuadorian call HC1DG... I am
still unable to come up with anyone who shows that call in a copy of the Callbook.
Perhaps he was a Tech-Lite-In-The-Loafers and they didn't list it.
