Default Is that China on 9,200 kHz?

Early mornings and late afternoons here on the US east coast I'm
hearing a fairly strong signal on 9,200 kHz with what sounds like
Chinese music. There's little on no commentary. Rapid QSB typical of
long haul propagation. Any info on this one?

Thanks,
Art N2AH

It's the Chinese "Firedrake" jammer... most likely jamming Sound of Hope. Plays
music and generally takes a break between ToH + 5.

Art:
I have a couple mp3 recordings of the Firedrake jamming signal:

Take a listen and see if it sounds like what you heard.

If propagation permits you'll also hear it on 10400.

Yes. I heard it on both frequencies (9,200 and 10,400) this morning
~1145z with a big signal.

If the band opens up you might also hear them on 17330 as Sound of Hope
reportedly also uses that frequency.
