Default Anybody try a Sangean Sonido Radio?

I was perusing the CCrane website and I found the Sangean Sonido radio.
It looked intriguing especially as a bedside radio. According to the
listing, it has "most of the fine features you've come to appreciate
with our CCRadio plus." The only thing I really liked about my old
CCRadio was its humane wake system. It was my $150 alarm clock, but it
took up way too much room. I finally sold the CCRadio and got a cheap
alarm clock.

According to the listing, "this sparkling new radio excels in its
reception," but if I've learned anything in my 48 years, it's that
CCrane is the most over-hyped website in the world. (How's that for a
little hyperbole of my own.)

If that's the case then why are you even considering a radio from CC
Crane?

Does anybody have any experience with this Sonido radio?

$100.00 for a clock radio? What could it possibly do that a $30.00
Sony clock radio could not do.

Not sure what point you were trying to make with that "equation".
