World are in Jackson now,more and more are coming.From
Tallahassee,Florida,Columbus,Ohio,Sacramento,Calif ornia,the lady on tv
news said.And women from all over want to be Sweet Potato Pie Queen
wannabes.

Lots of new construction is going on in the Jackson metro area,new
buildings,homes,streets and stuff,,,, it's a mess out there.I am going
down town tomorrow and watch the parade and then to Fenian's Pub and
then to Hal and Mal's Restaruant.It is one of the biggest St.Paddy's Day
whoop de doos in America and every year it gets bigger and bigger.

I had a friend who was half Asian and half Irish..

We called him Rice Paddy.

My friends and I went and rode steam trains through the KELLY GREEN
countryside all day...quite a romp.

An old buddy of mine was born in Collins,Mississippi.(so was Dana
Andrews,the movie actor guy,he passed away years ago) This morning,I
read in the Clarion Ledger newspaper www.clarionledger.com the old
over one hundred years old Railroad Depot building in Collins is going
to be restored and used for an office building.That is GOOD.
