Was a "foxhole" radio, like this
http://members.aol.com/djadamson7/articles/foxhole.html I wound the coil on a toilet paper cardboard tube and used a safety pin/pencil lead and razor blade as the diode detector. It amazed me! I can still remember the first thing I heard, using a window screen as the antenna. That was over 50 years ago. Thanks for the reminder! J. Severyn "?ish" wrote in message oups.com... Mine is National Panasonic 5410. Actually it is a MW & 3 SW band cassette recorder. Found a site that has little info about this radio: http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/nationa...410br5410.html Still working great!!!! What about you? -?ish |
