The farthiest North in Vietnam I ever worked at was at our 114th
Aviation Company ammo dump about three miles North of the Tan Son Nhut
North Gate.

U.S.Army.October 28,1962 to the morning of October 29,1965.Nike Missiles
at Scott Air Force Base,Illinois and Charley Battery SL 60 near
Pacific,Missouri, (Pacific is just West of Saint Louis) January 1963 to
September 1963.October and November 1963, two months ammo school, Fort
Knox,Kentucky.1964, 114th Aviation Company in Vietnam.

morning of October 1965 when I got my DD 214 and then stopped off at the
PX store to buy a few cartons of Philip Morris cigarettes on my way
home, 22nd Chemical Company (smoke pots,smoke grenades, stuff like that)
at Fort Hood,Texas.My highest rank in the Army was Speedy Fo, you know
what that is, same same as Corporal.Then back to work at the
auto/truck/lawn mower factory that used to be in
Florence,Mississippi,about thirteen miles South (South is always best)
of doggys couch.That factory closed down about seven or eight years
ago.A buddy of mine and his wife live in Florence, he works for Paccar,
Paccar is going to build a diesel engine factory for 18 wheelers in
Columbus,Mississippi.I have worked at other factorys around here too and
I drove a bread truck in Jackson for about eight years for Sunbeam
Bakery that used to be in Vicksburg.
