Yup, it almost reminds you of W's coke head daughters. They been busted for coke? Has George? When Bush/43 was asked about his cocaine use he refused to answer the question. If he couldn't say "no" that leaves only one alternative. By that logic, if he couldn't say 'yes' that leaves only one alternative as well. Since he was running for president on a conservative ticket, his two choices were either "no" or to simply not answer, if "no" would not have been truthful. I don't think he could have done what Obama has done, admit to taking cocaine and then set a record in presidential fund raising. The ability to raise funds does not necessarily equate to the ability to actually be President and handle the job. Obama lacks basic skills, which should be painfully obvious even to the most jaded Liberal. It remains to be seen whether Obama will reach the golden level, but when it comes to experience, who had more than our current esteemed Veep who appears to gone totally kookoo lately? Right now I'm looking for good judgement and truthfulness in a candidate, which is enough to disqualify just about everyone :-) bob k5qwg |

Why did you not speak up when the drunk was a child of a Democrat? What you should be hating is the complete collection of low lifes on both sides of the political spectrum who have made Representative Democracy a complete joke...and not just in the States. mike |

Hey, if Rush limbo can possess enough illegal drugs to "sedate a horse" what's the big deal? Also a case of conjecture. Never proven. Never disproven. Such is the nature of a public accusation, followed by a great deal of media release, and then dropped charges....nothing ever has to be proven. Nothing can ever be denied. And the stain on the accused's name can never be removed. From that point everything done by either party must become a show for the media. Also a well played political move on the part of a Democrat DA, whose supporters have admitted pressuring him into the case to get Rush out of the neighborhood. Like the GWB cocaine implication, I suspect there is far less to the story than has to date been stated, or implied. And in the Rush case, the star 'witness' admitted to selling her story by the tabloids prior to being approached by the authorities. Though I believe Rush when he admits to the addiction, and believe that he's not lightning white, the handling of the accusation and the nature of the claims of the witness point to more manufacture than fact. |
