You Ain't ! - (OT) and Off-Topic plus Me "RHF"
- - - Should tell you everything to know - Don't Read It.

Then all you are doing is cluttering up the newsgorup bozo. There
is no content in them, you are just doing it to change the subject
header. And thus they do appear as not only you starting yet
another off-topic thread, but they have absolutely no value.

- You once again change the subject header
- with no reference to the original post.

FYI - The Original Subject Line read : "nice set of BIG T I T S"

- You quote nothing, not even who posted the message
- you are replying to.

WHY REPOST THE OFF-TOPIC "PORNO" GARBAGE ?

To give it context.

Since you are abitrarily declaring what's on and off topic, then
how am I supposed to know that you are talking about spam when there
is no easy reference to the post you are refering to? Just because
at your stupid google everything is convenieniently lined up so
people won't see the original subject header unless they look in
the thread is not what the rest of us see. You don't know that
because you still think this is a google group.

You are in effect doing the same thing as the village idiot, who
can't be bother to live up to community standards and quote
some of what he is replying to. Most of the time it's drivel anyway,
but without the context of what he is replying to, there is absolutely
no reason to read his junk posts.

I basically tuned out of this newsgroup for a few weeks, because everytime
I look in here there is a spew of your junk posts. I've been here a lot
longer than you have, so I can't help but wonder why I should have
to leave because of the nonsense ways you think will fix up the
newsgroup.

You aren't improving the newsgroup, you are messing it up.

I will never defend what you are doing because you are doing a lousy
job of it.

This isn't about fixing up the newsgroup, because if it was, you'd
be slapping down the village idiot for his junk posts.

This isn't about fixing up the newsgroup, because if it was you wouldn't
be replying to trolls like "radium".

This isn't about fixing up the newsgroup, because if it was, you wouldn't
be adding your two cents to the off-topic threads.

This isn't about fixing up the newsgroup, because if it was, you'd clean
up your own act so we didn't have to scroll down through all the
previously
quoted material (leaving it all in is as bad as not quoting at all), only
to see we've wasted our time when you have one line of text that says
nothing of value.

This isn't about fixing up the newsgroup, because if it was, you wouldn't
be making the mistake of thinking all these subject headers that you
spew into the newsgroup with "ot" in them are actually doing good. They
in effect give permission to the idiots who want to post off-topic junk.
"He's doing it, so I will too".

This isn't about fixing up the newsgroup, because if it was, you wouldn't
need correcting about the purpose of this newsgroup (such as the time or
times you've made your declaration about something being off topic

This isn't about fixing up this newsgroup, because if it was, you wouldn't
be getting into arguments with people about something they've posted,
all this nonsense when you single people out in subject headers and
then scold them or dismiss them.

This isn't about fixing up this newsgroup, because if it was, you wouldn't
have posted some months ago the obnoxious suggestion that people put
"ot" in their subject headers, in effect giving them permission to post
off topic. If it's off-topic, it doesn't belong here, and when people
actually put "ot" in the subject header, they know it's off topic and
are saying "I don't care".

IN essence, you are like a schoolteacher that has lost control of the
class. You aren't getting respect because there is nothing to respect.
Your nonsense notions of what will fix the problem is just something to
be laughed at. Your reaction to people who know better than you is
to dismiss them, rather than realize they have more wisdom and experience
in these matters than you do.

You are far more interested in this control than actually fixing the
newsgroup. This thread is a prime example, since it fits your scenario
to dismiss threads based on your own personal likes and dislikes. The
village idiot can post, but if someone posts something fairly relevant
to shortwave, but which is beyond your ken, such as solar flares, you
declare it off-topic. You dismiss one thread on the grounds it's
not "shortwave" when this newsgroup isn't specifically about shortwave
listening, but includes other aspects of DXing, simply because you think
the post doesn't belong here.

Given those conditions, it isn't really a leap to think, without that
context you remove from your spew, that you'd dismiss a thread because
it was in a "foreign" language.

I understand that Usenet/Google Newsgroup
Rec.Radio.Shortwave is about Shortwave Radio
-not- "nice set of BIG T I T S"

No you don't.

This all started some years back when you posted all the fine print
from google about what they say about posting ads. It was all irrelevant
because google is not the newsgroups.

A few months ago you posted more fine print from google, as if it had
some relevance to a newsgroup, which it doesn't.

You seem to feel it's acceptable to post off topic about the state
of google's updating, when it has no relevance here. You think it
matters because you can't imagine a world where people don't use
google.

You're continued changing of the subject headers is another
reflection of your confusion between google and the newsgroups.
Yes, changing the subject header does make the original subject
header disappear over at google, but this isn't google. You can't
make decisions based on your vision of the newsgroup that is based
on only using google. The rest of us have to live with your empty
posts, and it is doing more damage at this point than the original.

If you post a message with no context to a previous post, then you
are assuming the newsgroup is google. Because then you don't realize
there is no centralization to newsgroups, and messages can get lost
and people can read the newsgroup different ways, and that the context
is indeed needed.

Likewise, you likely think nothing of leaving in messages and
messages of quotes, because google has that way of making the
quotes disappear. That's not the case for the rest of us, we
have to scroll down to see the nonsense at the end of the post.

- It's not a "google group". JUst because you use google
- to access this newsgroup, which has been around far
- longer than google, doesn't mean everyone is. I would
- make the point that anyone posting from google is
- incapable of doing any sort of policing, because they
- post from google.

Usenet or Google this Newsgroup is Rec.Radio.Shortwave
and is about Shortwave Radio -not- "nice set of BIG T I T S"

No, once again it's not about "shortwave radio". It's about
DXing, and that includes reception on the FM broadcast band
and the AM broadcast band, and listening to amateur radio (but
it stops there, since there is a whole hierarchy for amateur
radio), and listening to scanners (with the caveat that it's less on
topic since there is a whole hierarchy for that).

- Keep your trash out of the newsgroups,
- and they will be a better place.

My Right To Reply -Insures- Your Right To Reply
- - - Think About It !

But I can and do ignore you, because you really don't have anything
much to say. A lot of links and in a really hard to follow style.

But then, I started noticing the subject header changing. Actually,
I thought you might actually be contributing, so I was suckered
into looking. That's when I noticed that you routinely, almost
pathologically, change the subject headers, and once again WITHOUT
GIVING ANY REFERENCE TO THE PREVIOUS SUBJECT. And that's when I noticed
how often you just leave in all the previous quoting, only to put in a
few lines at the bottom.

And then I started noticing how often you declare things here, like
how ads are allowed because google says so, like replying to a
cross-posted
thread with an empty post will fix the problem, and so on.

I started paying attention when I realized you were a problem to the
newsgroup. When I ignored you because I felt you had nothing to say,
that was fine. But it's gone beyond that.

But, this isn't about "rights". This is about the nonsense way you
think you can fix the problem. And you aren't doing that.

So if slap someone who posts off-topic (and put the "ot" in the subject
header), that is my right. I suggest you have no right to play netcop
and come after me.

But that's the point. You play the "net cop". You are trying to be
The Law, rather than some poster who is reacting to off-topic posts.
Done well, you rally support and do some good for the newsgroup.
Done badly, and you really do it badly, you just mess up the newsgroup.

I'll ignore you so long as your posts really don't have much value,
and consist of virtually nothing but links. I'll ignore you so long
as your posts consist of a line or two after a long series of quotes
I'll even ignore you when you change pathologically change the subject
header, if it's just about the topic of this newsgroup.

But once you assume dictator of this newsgroup, then I can't ignore
you. Because you don't have a clue how to fix the newsgroup, and
in your blundering, you are making it worse.

People call you out because you are doing that to them, yet give
yourself permission to do as you please. You don't live up to
community standards ...
