And are you saying that IBiquity wants and intends to remain

It's a developmental startup.

Satellite radio began development in the early 90's, and is losing about
a
billion dollars a year... yet the companies involved believe they can be
profitable in the future and give value to the shareholders.

Right. It's about the money.

Without money, there is no free radio. You can always pay $150 a year for
satellite... because that is the satellite model, also about money. One gets
ad revenues, the other charges the listeners. Your choice.

Ohhhh....so THAT'S how it works. I thought Satellite Radio would pay
me to pay terrestrial station managers directly. Wow, that's so
interesting...

Tell you what, Eduardo. If I were back home, I would, at this point, go the
satellite venue in a heartbeat. At least someone in their programming
department cares about people that want to hear something besides
rap/hiphop/urban contemporary, country, Christian and rock. "free radio" has
no choices anymore. It bites. And then, you go and throw up those damn
noise generators so all we can get are local stations that are less than 10
miles from us. It's bull****. You take away our choice, and try to blow
smoke up our asses and tell us it's good for us because if you don't take
away our choices, we won't have any choices at all. There's a word that was
coined for that sort of crap on a stick:

NEWSPEAK. (formerly known as doublespeak, forked tongue, etc.)
