I know GE had a least 3 versions of the Superradio for AM Dxing. Out of I,

Go for the II. (Note though that neither the I or the II have the expanded band coverage up to 1700 kHz). dxAce Michigan USA |

I don't think there is a G.E.Superadio I, is there? Anyway, I own a
G.E.Radio and according to the model number on the back of the radio it is a G.E.Superadio although it does not say Superadio anywhere on the radio.I bought the radio new at a Service Merchandise store back in the 1980s.In my opinion, the first G.E.Superadios (including the one I own) are better than the G.E.Superadios models II and III.I have never owned a G.E.Superadio II or a G.E.Superadio III before.I am only basing my expert opinion on reviews I have read before about the first ones and the IIs and the IIIs. cuhulin |

7-2880B is the model number on the back of my radio.
Oh well, if it is a G.E.Superadio I, I guess that is what it is then. Old Oldsmobiles with factory equiped Chevrolet engines are still Oldsmobiles, I guess. cuhulin |
