I was disappointed with the way the Yaesu VR-5000 receiver was
designed, and the lack of software on the Internet available to
control this receiver. So, I took matters into my own hands and
designed my own control program that can access nearly every cat
control feature of this radio. Scanning Logging and record is greatly
simplified and now I have a receiver that I can enjoy on HF as well as
the VHF/UHF bands.
