And I also recall hearing the California Highway Patrol up in that region as well when the 'skip' is in. I've hooked up my scanner to the 200' W-E wire and had excellent reception. I'm not certain if they use the low band anymore or not, but it was always interesting listening. Oh yeah, they still use those frequencies. 200 W-E wire? What is that? I own two Radio Shack hand held scanners.One
of them is a Pro-91.I don't remember what the other one is, it is a 16 channer scanner though. cuhulin |
