Are they at least playing some nice Latin jazz or are you getting
loaded up with news from your point of view?

The mail bag show just started. My point of view is that civilization
doesn't work. Show me where I'm missing something.

If you feel civilization does not work then no matter what anybody
shows you - you yourself are as lost a cause as the civilization you
comment on.

Ever try Prozac??

David is a weed user.

I take a small SSRI every night, as well. But that has nothing to do
with the failure of civilization.

Perhaps if you did not see civilization as having failed your spirits
would be higher and not feel the need for the SSRI. Most SSRI's carry
with them side effects that are not good for the very same psyche they
are trying to help: eg. weight gain is common and being heavy can lead
to depression which is what the SSRI is trying to abate; also SSRI's
can cause ED issues which again contribute to depression and the goal
of the SSRI is abate depression. David, you seem to be caught in an
endless spiral that is detrimental to your mental well being. My
suggestion is to ween yourself from the SSRI's, stick to smoking a
joint in the evening as opposed to drinking a martini and realize that
the world just isn't what most of us think it should be. Concentrate
on making your little corner of it better and give up on converting
members of this newsgroup to your point of view. Oh - you still have
my and I'm sure most folks - permission to pick on Edweenie.

The SSRI is not for depression.

I am losing weight.

A joint is way too much pot.

I quit drinking 8 years ago.

As an anarchoprimitivist I could not be happier with the direction the
world is taking.

My little corner rules!

I ask NO ONE! (...for permission to diss Dwardo.)

Oh yeah, happy go lucky dave is how you come across. Sure thing.

So along with depressed we can add delusional to your problem list.

OK. I can live with that. If we did not delude one's self we'd be
seriously crazy. Reality can only be taken in small doses.

Are you trying to justify your drug abuse using someone else's behavior?

Are you not a hypocrite?

Reality does not come out of a pill or a joint.

To obtain the degree of objectivity required to experience things as
they really are is not easy.

My mood or perceptions are not dictated or modified by drinking coffee.

It's food with flavor and taste that has some caffeine in it. I don't
use it as a crutch in order to function. As a drug abuser you would not
understand that.

But hey, if it allow you to take your focus off yourself in order to
remain in a drug induced haze suit yourself.

I applaud you. Spoken like a true speed freak.

Without drugs it's a piece of cake.

I take back all I said in this thread. Stay the way you are, keep using
all the drugs your doctor pushes on you and by all means keep smoking
the pot.
