![]() News Bulletin: Monday, November 26, 2007 Arbitron delays PPM rollout. The reasons include MRC troubles, growing subscriber discontent and continued difficulties in reaching in-tab targets. Arbitron has announced it will delay the rollout of PPM in nine markets. New York, Nassau-Suffolk and Middlesex-Somerset-Union which were set to be the next markets for launch at the end of December, will be delayed until September 2008. Other markets getting pushed back are Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, San Jose and Dallas. -insideradio |

Other markets getting pushed back are Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, San Jose and Dallas. -insideradio This news was met with cheering at work; nearly everyone in major markets realized Arbitron had major issues in rolling out the PPM and it was the pressure of subscribers that made Arbitron revise its roll out schedule so the problems in the system can be worked out with the subscribers and the MRC. |
