G'day,
My broadcast of Pit****er to Coffs Harbour Ocen race has started!! 1. Link via BLOG URL: http://aussiedrifter.blogspot.com/ 2. Direct USTREAM URL: http://ustream.tv/channel/pw2ch-ocean-race Pit****er to Coffs is to start 1200 AEDT Jan 2nd 2008. Approx 1.5 hours from now. For first time in 27 years the race will not be going to Coffs Harbour, instead the new course is outlined below. There is some faint traffic as they perform their Radio Checks for race Start. New Course: ------------- Due to heavy weather new course will now be Pit****er - Port Stephens - Botany Bay - Pit****er. New Skeds: ---------- 1805 today 4483 and/ or 2524,6516 0005 3rd Jan 0805 3rd Jan 1805 3rd Jan 0005 4th Jan Hope you all enjoy, Regards Mark AussieDrifter wrote: G'day All, I'll be giving it another go and will be attempting to broadcast the HF Comms for "Pit****er to Coffs Harbour Ocean Race 2008" - (Race details http://www.pit****ertocoffs.com.au/). G'day All,
Are there any SWLers close to Sydney / Coffs Harbour that willing to help broadcast via the internet the Pit****er to Coffs (or in this years case Pit****er to Pit****ter) ![]() They have opted to use 4485 khz which is not a very good day time frequency for propagation. Here is a sample if your wish to hear it at the 1705 AEDT sked ![]() http://www.mediafire.com/?6fmw1d9kzmy I was wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me how they go receiving traffic via 4483 khz relating to pit****er ocean race. The best times are the skeds, the next one is 0005 AEDT, followed by 0805 AEDT and then followed by 1805 AEDT. If you do get good signals, the next BIG BIG BIG Question would you be willing to at a minimum broadcast / upload the SKEDs via USTREAM.TV ?? similar to how I do it on http://aussiedrifter.blogstop.com ? The race should conclude Friday 4th Morning. so it will be only a short broadcast ? If you are willing to broadcast continually the frequency that would be even better!!!!!! I know its a big ask, but its so frustrating not being able to hear the skeds and possible yachts retiring etc Cheers Mark AussieDrifter wrote: G'day, My broadcast of Pit****er to Coffs Harbour Ocen race has started!! 1.
