He was evidently not in a position to comment on the Grundig Satellit 1000 / G1. As the shortwave radio selections on the Eton website seem to indicate a shift away from Eton branding toward Grundig branding, my guess is that the Eton E1 will soon re-emerge as either the Grundig Satellite 1000 or G1. |

The Eton was almost as hyped-over as was it's predecessor the Sony 2010 which was another medicore radio. True the 2010 was poorly rendered, but I see no long list of "fixes" here for the E1, like we had for the Sony FETs always frying. |
